I didn't expect to interact with an emperor lethiathan like that. I was expecting some kind of god like glowing white tentacle alien form deep down there but not a trapped majestic beast. I loved the idea, both desperate and tragic, I love the scope of hte building, something so crazy so huge so deep, what an amazing reward for the player I was in aw at the entire end of this plot, the details all connecting together with the pumping, the fish with trails that were healing with the enzyme the ecosystem and of course this huge beast trap down there. This game is probably the most rewarding exploration experience I've ever played. I'm almost nostalgic already of these water I just worked so hard to quit. I'm so glad I've been going into this blind. It seemed like it was pretty far, and I saw a bit of the head and some of the neck before I turned on Silent Running and got the fuck out. I'm not completely sure how far away it was, but it seemed to be about as far as I had typically been able to see Reaper Leviathans by the Aurora. If it was that distance, then it's head was almost the size of a Reaper Leviathan! I really love how all you can really see on them is the glowing marks on their body and face. I saw this when I was in the way back to base after getting Uranite Crystal at the bottom of the grand reef. I also got a notification from the PDA that there as a "large titanium mass" in a cave system below me. I'm guessing one of the alien facilities, and now I just need to find a way further down. If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. The most common causes of this issue are: It might be best to come back with the Seamoth docked in the Cyclops so I can figure out the way, drop beacons, then come back when the Prawn Suit to explore more.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests.

This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. So it’s definitely possible to unlock this achievement in Freedom and Survival mode.Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. I unlocked this achievement in Freedom mode. The same applies for most of these achievements. If you have an old save file, where you already have the Cyclops, you can load this saved game and then retroactively unlock the achievement. Once you have created the Cyclops the achievement will unlock. Watch out there will be a dangerous Reaper Leviathan swimming around those parts so be careful.Īfter unlocking all Blueprints, you’ll need the following materials to create the Cyclops in the Mobile Vehicle Bay: That’s the right hand side of the giant shipwreck if you’re looking at it from your Lifepod. But normally parts of the Cyclops can be found near the back of the Aurora.

There is an element of RNG in fragment spawns. Each completed component will progress the overall Cyclops blueprint by 33% to fully complete the Cyclops blueprint, you must find and scan nine fragments in total.

Each component is shown individually in the PDA. There’s the Cyclops Hull, Cyclops Engine, and Cyclops Bridge blueprints.Įach set requires three fragments to be scanned in order to complete the component. You will need to unlock three different sets of blueprints to unlock the Cyclops. Explore deeper, dock a Seamoth or a Prawn suit within the Cyclops, it’s a moving base. It may be a grind but the Cyclops advances your exploration like nothing before it. Unlocking the Cyclops is fairly long winded. If you’re trying to unlock the Cyclops then you probably already created the Mobile Vehicle Bay earlier when unlocking the Seamoth. This means you will need to explore and scan fragments to unlock the Mobile Vehicle Bay blueprint, and to unlock the Cyclops. You will need a Mobile Vehicle Bay in order to create the Cyclops. This achievement is awarded for creating the Cyclops.
